• Highest achievement? I married my wife Perri since 2013.

  • I live in Geelong, Australia. Rumour is we have the greatest football team of all (a song wouldn’t lie would it?)

  • I've been playing bass for the last 27 years.

  • I finally found a bass teacher once I began studying Jazz Performance at NMIT Greensborough - turns out having someone point out everything you’ve been doing wrong for two years straight is really helpful!

  • I almost didn’t finish the second year because I was away so often making music on tour!

  • The first record I ever bought was Def Leppard’s Hysteria

  • The first Cassette tape I ever bought was Snow’s 12 Inches of Snow (to my everlasting shame)

  • I honestly can’t remember the first CD I ever bought but the first digital album I ever bought was Strict Joy by The Swell Season. I still remember the first time I disappeared into it watching the Scottish rain fall on windows of our tour van.

  • When I'm not on the road or in the studio I love spending time at home with Perri and our sweet lil’ Whippet Apollo. (He’s 9 years old, but still a puppy in my eyes)

  • My favourite greek restaurant in the whole world is in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Hit me up for the hot tip if you’re ever in the area.

  • If I were a classic synth I’d definitely be a Juno 106 (with both chorus buttons mashed in)

  • I’ve been playing bass with Sons of Korah for the last 20 years.

  • They’d already been performing for 10 years when I joined.

  • I’m not saying that Matt Jacoby is old. He’s just older than me is all…

  • My most favourite mexican restaurant in the whole world is in east LA

  • 24 years later I’m still trying to beat the vibe of the drums we recorded on my first ever record - in my mum’s kitchen with the mics routed through an old guitar pedal!

  • I first heard Sons of Korah’s music a full 4 hours before my first gig (Matt gave me a CD on the flight to Sydney!)

  • My least favourite Mexican restaurant in the whole world is also in east LA (you’ve gotta roll the dice on the road)

  • 24 years later I’m still trying to get over the cringe lyrics I wrote on that first ever record. Everyone starts somewhere…
